Almost 3.5 thousand citizens were officially employed and involved in taxation during January – April 2020; the state budget additionally received more than 6.2 million UAH. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk.
Specifically, 2144 individuals were identified by the measures taken by the tax control and other measures aimed at identification employees whose work is used by business entities (employers) without documenting employment relations and proper taxation. After legalization of their work, the amount of 4 million 76.3 thousand UAH of taxes, fees and other obligatory payments were paid to the budget.
1292 citizens who provided various services, received income and, at the same time evaded taxation were identified and involved in taxation. After the latter were involved in the state registration as business entities, the budget additionally received 2.159.2 thousand UAH of tax payments.
In addition, according to Oleh Martyniuk, in order to increase the level of salaries, during the reporting period, the number of 79 legal entities and 142 entrepreneurs were invited to interview the commissions set up jointly with the authorities. In addition, during the same period, individual outreach work was carried out with officials of 180 enterprises and 399 individuals – entrepreneurs. As a result of conducted work, the personal income tax revenues increased by 337.0 thousand UAH during the reporting months.
Also, 8 business entities – debtors were heard at meetings of the working groups which function jointly with authorities at the Tax inspections, which resulted in repaid arrears of wages by 598.0 thousand UAH, personal income tax – 91.0 thousand UAH and single social contribution – 3 million 304.0 thousand UAH.
Oleh Martyniuk summarized that work aimed at un-shadowing incomes, raising wages and increasing, as a result, personal income tax revenues and the single social contribution – remains a priority for the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region.
