STS of Mykolaiv region conducted work to create equal competitive conditions for business entities, improve their service, prevent the use of tax evasion schemes and strengthen the counteraction against the shadow economy during January – May 2020.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev noted that working indicators of the STS of Mykolaiv region testify about the efficiency of taken measures. Thus, according to him, budgets of all levels received almost 5.3 billion UAH of taxes and fees during 5 months of 2020, while comparing to January – May 2019, tax revenues have increased by 485.1 million UAH.
Dmytro Prokofiev also informed about significant revenues to both state and local budgets.
Taxpayers of Mykolaiv region paid 2.6 billion UAH to the state treasury, which is 324.3 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019. Local budgets received almost 2.7 billion UAH, which is 160.7 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019.
In addition, the Tax service of Mykolaiv region ensured significant value added tax revenues to the state budget. The VAT revenues amounted more than UAH 1 billion UAH during January – May 2020, which is 216.5 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
Also, the state budget received 714 million UAH of the income tax, which is 53 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019.
Dmytro Prokofiev thanked the taxpayers for their civil position, conscious attitude to the fulfillment of constitutional obligation to pay taxes to the budget and expressed hope for further effective cooperation for the sake of financial stability and prosperity of Mykolayiv region.
