Taxpayers of Volyn region transferred tax payments to the state budget by 10% more

According to the results of January – May 2020, 1 billion 672 million UAH of tax payments was paid to general fund of the state budget administered by territorial bodies of the State Tax Service in Volyn region.

Amount transferred by business entities of Volyn region to the state treasury is 154 million UAH more than similar indicators in 2019 – informed Tax monitoring department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region.

“Plus 10% of the state budget revenues in the context of economic slowdown is a good signal for future economic recovery and growth. Meanwhile, in conditions that objectively determine not only the pace of development due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but also the situation with payment of taxes, the STS specialists will counteract the so-called minimization schemes and risks of non-payment as effectively as possible. Emergency situation due to corona crisis requires very high quality work from tax specialists, and from each taxpayer – special tax discipline” – emphasized Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.

At the same time, Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region emphasized that effective practice of tax administration is impossible without modern technological solutions.

“Electronic format of interaction between the tax specialists and taxpayers is more relevant than ever. STS’s electronic services are constantly improved in accordance with the taxpayers’ needs. At the same time, the electronic information received by us is analyzed rather quickly. Accordingly, tax specialists can respond in a timely manner to the non-payment risks” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.

Please note that currently in Volyn region there is a positive dynamics of tax revenues. Particularly, 3 billion 531 million UAH of tax revenues were allocated to the budgets of all levels in Volyn region during January – May 2020. This is nearly 202 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019.
