Taxpayers of Cherkasy region paid 19.6 million UAH of the excise tax to the general fund of the state budget on excisable products produced in Ukraine and imported during January – May 2020.
More than 73 million UAH of the excise tax was paid to local budgets by taxpayers who conduct the retail sale of excisable products.
In addition, local budgets received 13.1 million UAH. Comparing to the same period in 2019, payments have increased by 20 million UAH or 136.8%.
2641 excise tax payers were registered in Cherkasy region as of 01.05.2020, namely: 8 producers of alcohol beverages, 107 payers of excise tax on fuel and 6 electricity payers.
