Taxpayers of Ivano-Frankivsk region paid almost 2.1 billion UAH of the personal income tax from received income during January – May 2020. This was reported by the Main Department of the STS in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Particularly, the local budgets of Ivano-Frankivsk region received more than 1.5 billion UAH which is 110.3 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019.
It should be noted that paid personal income tax traditionally remains one of the main sources of filling local budgets and united territorial communities, as in the structure of revenues to the local treasuries of Carpathian region it is more than 62% of the total amount of tax revenues.
The biggest amounts of the personal income tax on wages of employees were paid by:
- legal entities – more than 1.0 billion UAH;
- employees of the budget sphere – 892 million UAH;
- individuals – entrepreneurs – 140.3 million UAH;
- citizens who received income from the lease of land shares – 13.3 million UAH.
At the same time, it should be noted that the local budgets revenues growth, namely the personal income tax, has a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the territorial communities of Carpathian region.
