Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui noted that more than 1 billion 981 million UAH of the personal income tax was paid to budgets of all levels during January – May 2020. Thus, the state treasury from the legal income of residents of Rivne region has been provided by 165 million UAH of the personal income tax more than in 2019.
Please note that the PIT is the main source of filling the local budget. In the revenues structure, it occupies a leading position – about 60 percent of the total amount of other taxes and fees. This tax is paid at 18% of the salary rate.
Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region draws employers’ attention to compliance with the requirements of labor legislation: official registration of employees, timely payment of salaries, prevention of its payment in the “envelopes”.
Timeliness and completeness of filling the local budget is a key to economic and social development of Rivne region.
