Real estate of Kherson owners added almost 31 million UAH to the budget

Local budgets of Kherson region received 30.6 million UAH of the real estate tax other than land during January – May 2020. Communities additionally received by 3 million UAH more than in 2019. This information was reported by specialists of the Tax Monitoring Department of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city.

Individuals – citizens transferred 5.2 million UAH of the real estate tax other than land, which is 1.2 million UAH more than in 2019. “Record” contributions were made by citizens of Kherson city, namely 2.1 million UAH and residents of Henichesk district who transferred – 0.9 million UAH of the real estate tax.

Business entities – legal entities of Kherson region paid 25.4 million UAH of the real estate tax or 83% of the total income, which is 2 million UAH more than in 2019.

Reminder: in 2020, property owners – individuals pay real estate tax for 2019 at rates that were valid in 2019.

In order to calculate the tax qualitatively and in case of discrepancies, citizens are invited at the tax inspection at the place of residence (registration) to verify data on the objects and area size of the real estate owned by them.
