10.5 thousand residents of Vinnytsia region reported income as of June 1, 2020. More than 65% or nearly 6.9 thousand were obliged to submit declaration. The rest – used the right to get a tax rebate.
This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk. According to him, the total amount of declared income exceeded 1 billion 26.2 million UAH.
Considering the fact that Vinnytsia is agrarian, declarations of citizens who received income from the sale of agricultural products predominate among the submitted declarations. There are about 5 thousand of them. Second place is income received in the form of inheritance and / or gifts. 860 citizens reported about it. Another 342 residents of Vinnytsia region declared income from the sale (exchange) of movable or immovable property and 203 – from the real estate lease.
According to the results of calculations, the declarants were charged with more than 23.6 million UAH of the personal income tax and 3.6 million UAH of the military levy.
As for the right to get a tax rebate, it has so far been used by more than 3.6 thousand citizens, who according to the results of calculations will be refunded with more than 8.0 million UAH of the personal income tax.
Comparing to the same period in 2019, the number of submitted declarations and the amount of surcharges is slightly smaller. The reason is this year’s extension of declaration campaign to declare citizens’ incomes due to the COVID-19 until July 1, 2020. Given the approaching deadline for submitting the declaration, Oleh Martyniuk reminded the Vinnytsia residents, obliged to submit, that the Declaration campaign – 2020 ends in a few days. Therefore, he advised not to hesitate, so as not to expose oneself to financial responsibility once again.
