During the 1st half of 2020, the amount of 4 billion 227 million UAH of tax payments was collected under administration of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region. Specified collected amount is 232 million UAH more than actual figures in 2019.
“Socio-economic factors, due to the restrictions imposed in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, have a negative impact on the tax situation in country as a whole. However, due to socially responsible business, which has managed to save jobs and not curtail production, the state and communities receive adequate funds. We truly thank all business entities that honestly declare the real results of their activities and do not evade the obligation to pay taxes.” – stated Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Head of Volyn tax specialists emphasized that the current socio-economic conditions require tax administration specialists to pay even more attention to taxpayers, who potentially create risks regarding the budget’s filling.
“Despite the unfavorable economic tendencies and restrictions due to the pandemic, Volyn tax specialists are fully fulfilling the task of ensuring budget revenues. We strive to work so that our systematic counteraction against the risks and possible minimization has a positive financial result for the budget. At the same time, preventing budget losses, we create more comfortable conditions for honest business. This position of the State Tax Service is in the interests of society and the state” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.
