Local budgets of Donetsk region received 485.1 million UAH of the land tax during January – June 2020. Majority of revenues were transferred by the legal entities, namely 440.3 million UAH of the land tax and rent for state and communal lands. In turn, individuals transferred 44.8 million UAH.
In 2020, the formation of local budgets in terms of the biggest revenues, the land payment ranks second only to the personal income tax. According to the results of January – June 2020, the total share of land tax is 8% in local budget revenues.
By the territorial affiliation, the biggest revenues from the land tax were paid for the lands of Mariupol city – almost 126 million UAH, land users of Slovyansk replenished budget by 53.1 million UAH and Pokrovskyi district – by 50.2 million UAH.
Tax service of Donetsk region recalls that calculation of the land tax for individuals was carried out by the controlling bodies at the land location until July 1, 2020. The land tax is paid by individuals within 60 days from the date of delivery of the tax notification-decision.
