Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Cherkasy region Tetiana Kharkovska reported that taxpayers of Cherkasy region paid 6.5 billion UAH of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels during 6 months of 2020 – which is 8.5% or 507 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
State Budget of Ukraine received 3 billion UAH – which is 13.6% or 363 million UAH more than during 6 months of 2019, including 1.6 billion UAH of the value added tax (+287 million UAH or 1.2 times more than in 2019) and income tax – 393 million UAH which is 6.9% or 25 million UAH more than during January – June 2019.
According to Tetiana Kharkovska, the local budgets of Cherkasy region received 3.5 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 4.4% or 144 million UAH comparing to 2019. In particular, the local budgets received more than 2.1 billion UAH of the personal income tax, 531 million UAH of the single tax, 385 million UAH of the land tax and land rent and 213 million UAH of the excise tax.
Also, 2.6 billion UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance was transferred and aimed at providing pension insurance and implementation of state social benefits. Single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance was transferred by 43 million UAH more than in 2019.
Tetiana Kharkovska expressed gratitude to all taxpayers of Cherkasy region, who faithfully perform their duties in difficult business conditions.
