Taxpayers of Donetsk region paid 26 million UAH from the license fees for the wholesale and retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products to local budgets during January – June 2020, which is a million UAH more than in 2019.
At the same time, the Excisable product control department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region constantly monitors the legality of operation of trade facilities in the region, which is or may be retail sale of excisable products, analyzes and tests complaints of citizens and public organizations for the sale of products of the excisable group in violation of the laws of Ukraine, as well as control and verification measures to prevent them.
Thus, since the beginning of 2020, the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products without licenses obtained by business entities has been brought to financial responsibility in the amount of 470 thousand UAH. 519 licenses have been revoked since the beginning of 2020. Including 38 licenses for the sale of alcohol and tobacco products to persons under 18 years old have been revoked. Unscrupulous entrepreneurs who sold alcohol and tobacco products to minors were fined with 387.6 thousand UAH.
Holiday season is in ongoing, so the State Tax Service of Donetsk region reminds business entities that only with a license they can carry out the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products and draws their attention to the fact that penalties for these violations are 200% of the value of received consignments of products but not less than 17 thousand UAH.
