As a result of the Income declaration campaign for 2019, as of 01.07.2020, citizens of Dnipropetrovsk region and individuals involved in independent professional activity submitted almost 37.6 thousand property and income tax declarations for 2019. This was reported by the acting Head of Individuals taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Dnipropetrovsk region Nelia Dobrosovistna.
Amount of declared income is 4 billion 575.8 million UAH. According to the declaration results, the amount of 169.9 million UAH of the personal income tax (hereinafter – the PIT) and 24.7 million UAH of the military levy were accrued, which is 70.4 million UAH and 11.7 million UAH more, respectively, than the last year’s accruals.
The most active declarants were citizens who declared income received in the form of inheritance / gift - 2321 individuals. Total amount of income declared by them has amounted 470.7 million UAH. Another 1647 residents of Dnipropetrovsk region declared more than 463.6 million UAH of income from the sale (exchange) of movable and / or immovable property. 199 residents of the region reported income in the amount of 749.9 million UAH received abroad.
318 citizens reported more than a million UAH received in 2019, which is 49 taxpayers more payers than in 2019. Total amount of taxable income declared by them is 3 billion 080.2 million UAH, which is 496.9 million UAH more than the last year’s income.
In addition, more than 3.7 thousand citizens used their right to obtain a tax rebate. Amount of the personal income tax for budgetary reimbursement is 10.7 million UAH.
Please note that the personal income tax and military levy taxpayers who specified these taxes in the annual property and income tax declaration must pay liabilities by themselves until October 1, 2020.
