There are 231.9 thousand taxpayers are registered at the Tax service of Odessa region. Of these, 138.4 thousand are individuals - entrepreneurs and 93.5 – legal entities. Comparing to July 1, 2019 the number of taxpayers as a whole has increased by 4.6 thousand legal entities and individuals – entrepreneurs.
During the current year, as of 01.07.2020, the number of 9.5 thousand taxpayers (7.9 thousand individuals -entrepreneurs and 1.6 thousand legal entities) was registered at the Tax service of Odessa region. Specifically, in June 2020, the number of 2.2 thousand legal entities and individuals - entrepreneurs of the region became regional taxpayers.
Of the total number of value added tax payers as of 01.07.2020 there are17 thousand business entities, of which 15.9 thousand are legal entities and 1.1 thousand individuals - entrepreneurs.
Single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance is paid by 316.5 thousand business entities, which is 16.4 thousand more than as of July 1, 2019.
Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region reminds that on May 23, 2020 the Law of Ukraine as of 16.01.2020 № 466-IX “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine to Improve Tax Administration, Eliminate Technical and Logical Inconsistencies in Tax Legislation” (hereinafter – the Law № 466-IX) entered into force, except for certain rules, which will come into force later.
The Law № 466-IX stipulates a number of amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (hereinafter – the TCU), specifically, amendments to the procedure for registration, re-registration and registration cancellation of the VAT payers established by Articles 183 and 184 Section V of the TCU.
