Head of the Individuals taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Kirovohrad region Roman Hrushchak reported in an interview with the TV and radio channel “TTV” that almost 33 thousand declarations was submitted by residents of Kirovohrad region according to the results of this year’s campaign.
Total amount of income declared by the taxpayers has amounted 1.3 billion UAH. This is 84 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019. Amount of 64.8 million UAH of the personal income tax and 6.8 million UAH of the military levy were declared for payment.
Income of more than 1 million UAH was declared by 57 citizens. In total, they declared 617 million UAH of income. At the same time, 15 citizens declared income from the sale of real estate, 12 citizens from entrepreneurial activity, 7 citizens declared income in the form of inheritance (gift), 6 – from the property rent, 5 citizens received dividends, 4 – foreign income, 2 citizens declared income from notarial activity, 2 – from salary, 2 citizens received investment income and 1 citizen declared income from additional benefits and deposits interest.
In order to obtain a tax rebate, 805 citizens submitted declarations. They declared almost 2 million UAH of the personal income tax for reimbursement. The biggest part of the tax rebate cost claimed by citizens includes the cost of their own education or training of family members of the first degree of kinship – 663 citizens; expenses for insurance payments and pension contributions – 128 citizens; expenses for payment of the interest amount paid by the taxpayer for the use of a mortgage loan – 10 citizens. In addition, citizens’ costs included the cost of assisted reproductive technologies and the cost of re-equipping the vehicle.
“Please note that the taxpayers who have are entitled to use the tax rebate must submit declaration for 2019 by December 31, 2020” – emphasized Roman Hrushchak.
Declarations of citizens who cultivate land shares of more than 2 hectares alone account for 84% of all mandatory declarations.
During January – June 2020, almost 27 thousand declarations were submitted by citizens – individuals. Total amount of income declared by them has amounted 262.2 million UAH which is 32.4 million UAH or 14.1% more than in 2019. Amount of 47.2 million UAH of the personal income tax and 3.9 million UAH of the military levy have been set for payment.
Income declared by citizens – individuals in 2020 per 1 hectare of land, on average in the region, is 1698 UAH which is 249 UAH more than in 2019.
The official pointed out that obligations specified in the property and income tax declaration must be paid by October 1, 2020.
Individuals who have not declared their income before July 1, 2020 are under control of the tax authorities. In order to avoid penalties that will be added to the results of control and verification measures, these citizens have the opportunity to come to the STS’s territorial bodies and submit declaration for 2019.
