Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region reported that as of July 1, 2020 the number of 35708 citizens submitted property and income tax declarations for 2019. Of these, 33133 were required to submit it.
Total amount of declared income amounted more than 2 billion 550 million UAH. Self-determined amount of the personal income tax liabilities is more than 70.1 million UAH. Self-determined tax liabilities from the military levy amounted 9.4 million UAH.
Income exceeding 1 million UAH was declared by 257 citizens of the region.
Right to receive a tax rebate for 2019 has already been used by 2575 citizens of the region.
Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region draws attention to the fact that amendments introduced by the Law of Ukraine as of 17.03.2020 № 533-IX “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine to support taxpayers for the period of measures aimed at preventing the occurrence and spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)” to the Tax Code of Ukraine (hereinafter – the TCU), stipulates that individual must independently pay the amount of tax liability specified in the annual property and income tax declaration for 2019 by October 1, 2020.
