Taxpayers of Vinnytsia region have transferred 317 million 586.5 thousand UAH of the military levy to the state budget since the beginning of reporting year. According to acting Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk, this result exceeds the indicative figure by 4.2 million UAH. At the same time, the military levy’s payment has increased almost by 14.1 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019.
According to legislation, the military levy forms the state budget’s revenues. Then it goes to the state budget in full amount.
Currently, the military levy’s taxpayers are residents – individuals who receive income both in Ukraine and abroad, non-resident individuals who receive income in Ukraine, as well as tax agents. The military levy rate is 1.5% of the taxation object. The military levy taxation object, in addition to wages, is other incentive and compensation payments or other payments and rewards that are accrued or paid to the taxpayer in connection with the employment relationship and under civil law contracts, includes a number of others. Specifically, it is rent, winnings in the state or non-state money lottery, purchase and sale of movable and immovable property, payment of dividends, re-registration of inheritance, etc.
