There are 7457 valid licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products in the region and Vinnytsia city as of August 1, 2020. This was reported by Excisable product control department of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region.
Of the total, 605 such licenses were issued in July 2020. During the same period, 91 licenses were suspended and 106 were revoked due to late payment of the next payment.
Budget received almost 1.8 million UAH from licensing of the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products in July 2020. Licensing of the wholesale of the specified products replenished the treasury by more than 1 million UAH. During the same reporting period, the excise tax revenues from the sale of excisable products by retailers exceeded 17.5 million UAH.
Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region conducts measures to prevent violations in the turnover of alcohol beverages and tobacco products. As a result, the estimated amount of financial sanctions in July 2020 amounted 278.0 thousand UAH.
