Business entities involved in the retail sale of excisable products paid 97 million UAH of the excise tax to local budgets during 7 months of 2020. Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov reported that community treasuries have received 6.5 million UAH or 7% more comparing to the same period in 2019.
Local budgets received 24 million from licensing the retail sale of excisable products.
Zaporizhzhia entrepreneurs and enterprises received 7447 licenses for the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products during January – July 2020. Particularly, 3583 permits for the retail sale of alcohol beverages, 2320 – for tobacco products, 42 – for the sale of fuel and 1502 – for its storage.
In addition, 7234 licenses were extended, 695 licenses were suspended and 963 licenses were revoked, including 10 entrepreneurs who lost their licenses for selling alcohol to minors.

Reminder! Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 12.08.2020 approved the Procedure for the STS automatic system for comparing volume of turnover and residues of fuel and ethyl alcohol. Information on the results of comparison is posted for taxpayers in the Electronic cabinet; electronic Journal of comparison results is formed for the controlling body.
