Main Directorate of the STS in Lviv region reported that 261 citizen of Lviv region declared income totaling more than 1 million UAH for 2019. Amount of declared income is 1.999.0 million UAH.
According to the results of declaration campaign, millionaires have to pay additional 58.1 million UAH of the personal income tax (hereinafter – the PIT) and 7.7 million UAH of the military levy (hereinafter – the ML). Comparing to 2019, the amount of declared income has increased by 250.5 million UAH (1.748.5 million UAH in 2018); the liability from the PIT was declared by 10.5 million UAH more (47.6 million UAH in 2018) and by 1.6 million UAH of the ML more (6.1 million UAH in 2018).
Majority of millionaires live in Lviv city, namely 172 citizens or 65.9% of the total, in Pustomytivskyi district – 18 citizens or 6.9%, in Stryy city – 10 citizens or 3.8%.
According to submitted declarations, the following types of income have been declared by millionaire citizens:
- salaries – 63 citizens;
- sale of property – 53 citizens;
- inheritance, gifts – 48 citizens;
- investment income – 34 citizens;
- dividends, interest – 32 citizens;
- rent – 17 citizens;
- foreign income – 14 citizens.
