Taxpayers of Ternopil region transferred 4 billion 881.4 million UAH of taxes and fees to the consolidated budget of Ukraine during January – August 2020. The increase has amounted 318.9 million UAH or 7% more comparing to the same period in 2019. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Ivan Punko.
He stated that the state budget revenues have amounted 2 billion 16.1 million UAH, meanwhile in January – August 2019 the taxpayers paid 1 billion 839.6 million UAH of tax payments. As a result, this year’s revenues have increased by 176.5 million UAH or 9.6%. “In addition, payment exceeded expected revenues by 6.1%, so the state treasury additionally received 115.7 million UAH from our region.” – assured Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Ivan Punko.
According to him, local budgets revenues for 8 months of 2020 have amounted 2 billion 860.9 million UAH, which is 3.3% more than expected. As a result, 92.3 million UAH more was transferred4 to local treasuries. The increase in revenues has amounted 144.1 million UAH or 5.3% comparing to the same period in 2019.
“In terms of basic budget-forming payments, namely 874.3 million UAH of the value added tax was ensured, which is 116.1 million UAH more than during January – August 2019; 185.5 million UAH of the income tax (+ 20.4 million UAH to the expected figure) and 10.6 million UAH comparing to 2019) and 11.1 million UAH of the excise tax” – clarified Ivan Punko.
“It is gratifying that in the period of pandemic restrictions, business entities of Ternopil region understand the need and social significance of paying tax payments, so they transfer them to the budgets of all levels in a timely manner and full amount.” – summarized Ivan Punko.
