Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Cherkasy region Tetiana Kharkovska reported that the taxpayers of Cherkasy region paid almost 8.9 billion UAH of taxes, fees and charges to budgets of all levels during 8 months of 2020. This is 7.8% or 646 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
Collection to the State budget of Ukraine amounted more than 4 billion UAH, which is 11.3% or 410 million UAH more than in 2019, including the VAT received totaling more than 2 billion UAH, which is 1.2 times or 286 million UAH more than in 2019 and income tax – 550 million UAH, which is 10.4 percent or 52 million UAH more than during 8 months of 2019.
According to Tetiana Kharkovska, local budgets of Cherkasy region received 4.8 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 5.1 percent or 236 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019.
Specifically, local budgets received almost 3 billion UAH of the personal income tax; 736 million UAH of the single tax; 586 million UAH of the land tax and land rent; 303 million UAH of the excise tax.
Also, 3.5 billion UAH of single contribution to compulsory state social insurance was transferred and immediately aimed at providing pension insurance and implementation of the state social benefits. This is 79 million UAH more than during 8 months in 2019.
Tetiana Kharkovska expressed gratitude to all taxpayers of Cherkasy region who faithfully perform their duties in difficult business conditions.
