Budgets of all levels received 5 billion 806 million UAH of tax payments during January – August 2020.
Amount of tax revenues in Volyn region has exceeded the corresponding revenues in 2019 by 419.5 million UAH.
“Revenues growth of 7.8% contrary to negative influence of the COVID-19 pandemic indicates the gradual recovery of economy and proper process of administration of tax payments by the State Tax Service. Expediency and importance of introducing electronic services became especially obvious right during the pandemic. Transition to the electronic format of interaction with taxpayers allows business entities to fulfill tax obligations and receive services from the State Tax Service in a contactless form. Meanwhile, tax specialists have the necessary information for analytical work in order to prevent budget risks in a timely manner.” – stated Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Head of Volyn tax specialists emphasized that under the quarantine, there is a number of rules that limit audits of business and application of fines.
However, the audit moratorium and non-application of fines do not give grounds for business representatives to ignore their tax obligations – emphasized Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region.
