Single social contribution is the main source of replenishment for social insurance funds, which finance state social programs, pensions, material assistance to citizens, etc.
The SSC payers of Rivne region have transferred more than 3 billion 389 million UAH to the budget since the beginning of 2020. Budget additionally received 184.7 million UAH comparing to 2019.
This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui.
“Positive dynamics in the SSC revenues was achieved through systematic cooperation with local self-governments and employers to increase wages, taking measures to legalize employment. After all, timely payment of the single social contribution guarantees citizens social protection in case of unemployment, accidents or occupational diseases, pensions and other benefits” – emphasized tax official.
Also, Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region recalls that the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020” as of 25.08.2020 22822-IX increased the minimum wage from the 1st of September 2020 to 5 thousand UAH.
An increase in the minimum wage affects the minimum amount of single social contribution.
Thus, from the 1st of September 2020, the minimum single social contribution is 1100 UAH per month (5000 UAH x 22%) (3300 UAH per quarter).
