The “eco-tax” payers of Kharkiv region paid 178.5 million UAH

Business entities of the Kharkiv region transferred 178.5 million UAH of the environmental tax to budgets of all levels during January – August 2020. Revenues have increased by 22.3 million UAH or 14.3% comparing to the same period in 2019. The proved task was fulfilled by 110.3% (+16.7 million UAH).

Of the total amount, namely 107.2 million UAH was allocated to the state budget and 71.3 million UAH to local budgets.

The state and local self-governments use these funds to finance measures to protect the environment, restore the environment and rational use of natural resources.
