Business entities of Volyn region that carry out the sale of excisable products paid 16.3 million UAH to the budget for obtained licenses.
The biggest amount for obtained licenses, namely 10.2 million UAH was transferred to local budgets by entrepreneurs that carry out the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products.
Wholesalers paid 4.6 million UAH to the budget for licenses for the wholesale of alcohol and tobacco. Another almost 1.5 million UAH of budget revenues are the licenses fee for the fuel sale.
“Indicators of received licenses fees for the sale of excisable products generally correspond to the expected revenues. Therefore, it is worth noting the proper tax discipline of most business representatives involved in the sale of excisable products. With mobile application “Legal Excise” creation of which was initiated by the Tax service, we receive information from local self-governments about potential abuses. Each such notification is processed in a timely manner and the entire set of measures provided by the law is taken to conduct audit and bring violators to justice.”– emphasized Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Excisable product control department reported that 6.1 million UAH of penalties have been applied to business entities for violations in the sale of alcohol, tobacco and fuel since the beginning of 2020. Amount of 2.5 million UAH has already been transferred by the budget.
For reference: in Volyn region currently there are 76 licenses for the wholesale of excisable products, 5480 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products, 194 licenses for the retail sale of fuel.
