Zaporizhzhia taxpayers transferred 422 million 170 thousand UAH of the military levy during January – August 2020 (excluding data of large enterprises registered at registered at Zaporizhzhia Office of the STS Large Taxpayers Office). Paid amount is almost by 18 million UAH or 4.4% higher than in 2019. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov.
Companies and entrepreneurs transferred 57.4 million UAH to the state treasury in August 2020, which is 3.6 million UAH more than in 2019.
During January – July 2020, leaders in paying the military levy were businesses and residents of Zaporizhzhia city who provided more than 213 million UAH to the budget. From the income of payers from Energodar city, Kamyansko-Dniprovskyi and Velykobilozerskyi districts was transferred 64 million UAH, Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts – 36.69 million UAH, Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 29.2 million UAH, Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – 14.7 million UAH, Vilnyanskyi and Novomykolayivskyi districts – 12.5 million UAH, Orikhivskyi and Huliaipilskyi districts – 12.3 million UAH, Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – almost 12 million UAH.
In total, there are 56 thousand military levy’s payers in Zaporizhzhia region, including 15.8 thousand legal entities and 40.2 thousand individuals who are employers and responsible for withholding and transferring taxes and duties on the employees’ income.
The collection rate is 1.5%. Its payers are resident and non-resident individuals who receive income in Ukraine.
