Local budgets of Trans-Carpathian region received 3 billion 153 million UAH of tax payments during January – August 2020. Revenues have increased by 60.5 million UAH comparing to the corresponding period in 2019. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region Ilya Matyola.
Tax officials note that the main sources of filling local treasuries are the so-called budget-forming taxes in Trans-Carpathian region, namely: the personal income tax, single tax, land tax, real estate tax. Particularly, territorial communities received 2 billion 132 million UAH of the personal income tax during January – August 2020, which is 49 million UAH more than during January – August 2019.
Next in terms of revenues is the single tax. Individuals registered on the simplified taxation system paid 453.9 million UAH to budgets. Amount of revenues exceeded the last year’s figure over the corresponding period by 15 million UAH.
More than 278 million UAH of land payments and more than 110 million UAH of excise tax on the sale of excisable products by retail trade entities were also transferred to local treasuries during 8 months of 2020.
Business community of the region confirms its high tax culture with deeds, namely business community pays tax payments in the appropriate amount and on time. Therefore, funds available to local budgets will allow territorial communities of Trans-Carpathian region to direct them to their own development – stated Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region.
