According to the STS data, the Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region is in the top 5 among the Main Directorates in terms of the number of registered taxpayers.
Tax services department of Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region reported that as of the 1st of September 2020, there are 201 thousand taxpayers registered at regional tax authorities. This is almost 1.3 thousand tax payers more than at the beginning of 2020. Of the total number of business entities, there are 80.9 thousand legal entities; 118.2 thousand are individuals – entrepreneurs and almost 2 thousand individuals involved in independent professional activity.
More than 4 million 114 thousand individuals are registered in the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers as of the beginning of September 2020.Number of 9561 resident of Donetsk region is registered in a separate Register (these are individuals who due to their religious or other beliefs refused to assign a taxpayer’s registration card number and are registered in the specified register by name, series and passport number)
As of the value added tax payers, there are 6.6 thousand legal entities and 0.6 thousand individual entrepreneurs in the specified Register. Their total number has increased by 92 business entities comparing to the beginning of 2020.
High level of trust between the taxpayers and tax authorities of Donetsk region has been achieved due to the simplicity and convenience of reporting and receiving services, optimization of working hours of each taxpayer and simplification of administrative processes.
