Main Directorate of the STS in Luhansk region reported that 2 billion 263.8 million UAH of the personal income tax (hereinafter – the PIT) was transferred to budgets of all levels during January – August 2020.
Tax specialists noted that local budgets received 1 billion 688.1 million UAH of the personal income tax, which exceeds the last year’s figures by 158.5 million UAH.
The state budget received 575.7 million UAH of the personal income tax. This figure has increased by 54.5 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019.
Main Directorate of the STS in Luhansk region also emphasized that due to responsibility of a significant number of employers and citizens, the budgets of all levels and, above all, territorial communities receive the largest share of tax revenues from the personal income tax for development of their own socio-economic sphere.
