Taxpayers transferred more than 3.5 billion UAH to local budgets of Trans-Carpathian region during 9 months of 2020. Payment of tax liabilities in the region has increased by more than 111 million UAH comparing to January – September 2019 – this was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region Illia Matola.
According to him, the local treasuries mostly received the personal income tax, single tax, land tax, real estate tax and excise tax on retail sale of excisable products.
Specifically, according to statistics, the taxpayers have transferred 2.4 billion UAH of the personal income tax since the beginning of 2020, which is 93.8 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019. Business representatives also paid 481.6 million UAH of the single tax, which is 18.4 million UAH more than during January – September 2019. Payments for land were transferred in the amount of 320 million UAH. Revenues from the real estate other than land tax amounted 64.8 million UAH, which is 11.4 million UAH more than during 3 quarters of 2019. As a result, business entities dealing with the excisable products paid 128 million UAH of the excise tax to local treasuries.
“Due to effective administration of taxes and the taxpayers’ honesty – representatives of the real sector of economy ensure a positive dynamics of revenues to local budgets of Trans-Carpathian region. These funds are very important for development of our region, because they allow the territorial communities of Trans-Carpathian region to direct them to their own development and improvement” – emphasized Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region Illia Matola.
