Summarizing working of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region during January – September 2020, acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv Dmytro Prokofiev noted that tax specialists work effectively on the un-shadowing of economy, processing risky operations of business entities and ensure stable revenues of value added tax to the state budget. 1.93 billion UAH of the VAT from goods produced in Ukraine (share in the total amount of revenues to the state budget is 44.1%) was transferred, which is by 237.9 million UAH or 14.1% more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
Payment of the value added tax is provided by 6611 taxpayers, including 6061 legal entities and 550 individuals – entrepreneurs.
According to Dmytro Prokofiev, the VAT revenues growth confirms the transparency principle in the value added tax administration as an effective mechanism for controlling its calculation and payment, improving the work of electronic services for the VAT payers, as well as timely destruction of tax minimization schemes and conversion of funds.
