Regional taxpayers transferred more than 266.4 million UAH of the land payment to local budgets during January – September 2020. More than 180 million UAH of the land tax was paid by legal entities – owners and tenants of land plots, the rest 86.4 million UAH of land payments was transferred by individuals.
It should be noted that in total, the land payment ranks third among the budget-forming taxes of the general income of Bukovyn territorial communities (the PIT and the single tax). Currently, its share in the local budgets is 11.3%.
In general, some territorial treasuries received a land tax in larger amounts, namely: Chernivtsi city – 118.9 million UAH, Storozhynetskyi district – 23 million UAH, Kitsmanskyi district – 16.4 million UAH, Kelmenetskyi district – 14.7 million UAH, Hlybotskyi district –13.6 million UAH, Vyzhnytskyi district – 12.8 million UAH, Khotynskyi district – 12 million UAH, Novoselytskyi district – 11.1 million UAH, Sokyryany district – 10.4 million UAH.
Budgets of the following districts received slightly less: Zastavnivskyi district – 9.9 million UAH, Novodnistrovsk city – 4.6 million UAH, Putilskyi district – 4.6 million UAH, Hertsaivskyi district – 2.9 million UAH.
Tax specialists recall that the land tax is paid by citizens at the land plot location and is credited to the community budget. Therefore, every Bukovyn resident, regardless of the amount of tax paid, makes a reasonable contribution to territorial development.
