According to results of 137 audits of business entities involved in the retail trade of alcohol beverages and tobacco products, there were exposed 127 violations with application of financial penalties in the amount of 1.8 million UAH.
One of the most common is the storage of alcohol beverages and tobacco products marked with the counterfeit excise marks and without marks (financial penalty for this violation is from 17 thousand UAH). 41 such violations were exposed during 9 months of 2020, most of them in Chernihiv city, Nosivskyi, Pryluky and Ichnianskyi districts of Chernihiv region.
Among other violations there were: the retail trade of alcohol beverages and tobacco products without a license, storage of alcohol beverages and tobacco products in storage places not included in the Unified Register of storage facilities, violation of requirements prescribed in Article 15-3 (violation of requirements of the city council’s decision to restrict the sale of alcohol beverages at the appointed time of day, sale of alcohol beverages for bottling by business entities that do not have the catering status, sale of tobacco products individually, retail sale of alcohol beverages at prices lower than established minimal, etc.
16 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products for the sale of alcohol / tobacco to persons under 18 years of age were revoked.
Excisable product control department conducted 74 audits of business entities operating in the fuel market. According to the audit results, 35 acts were drawn up and more than 6 million UAH of fines were applied.
Specialists emphasize that the purchase of alcohol beverages should be carried out only in specialized retail outlets that have a permission documents. When buying, you should pay attention to the presence of appropriate excise mark on the bottle and remember that today the minimum retail price of one bottle of vodka with a capacity of 0.5 liters and 40% strength is 89.40 UAH.
