Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Khmelnytskyi region administered value added tax payment to the state budget in the amount of 1 billion 539 million UAH during January – September 2020, which is 13.3% or more than 180 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region reported that due to the use of electronic services, manipulations with the VAT reimbursement are excluded, as the whole process is automatic and transparent. State Tax Service effectively protects interests of legal business and creates equal competitive conditions for development of honest business in Khmelnytskyi region, which produces products with a high level of added value.
As of the beginning of October 2020 there were 4958 registered taxpayers in Khmelnytskyi region, of whom 4318 are legal entities and 640 individuals – entrepreneurs. It should be noted that the number of VAT taxpayers increased by 176 businesses during January – September 2020.
