Business entities that carry out the retail sale of excisable products paid 13 million 752 thousand UAH of excise tax to local budgets of Zaporizhzhia region during 9 months of 2020. Revenues exceeded the last year’s during the corresponding period by 6 million 790 thousand UAH or 5.3%. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov.
Tax specialists issued 7306 licenses, particularly 4408 for the sale of alcohol beverages and 2898 for the sale of tobacco products during January – September 2020. Local budgets received almost 31 million UAH of license fees. In addition, 1123 documents were suspended and 1698 were revoked. As of the beginning of October, the number of valid licenses was 8466.
Zaporizhzhia tax specialists also conducted 646 audits on legislative compliance governing the turnover of excisable products. Penalties in the amount of 63.8 million UAH were applied for revealed violations.

Notification of the next payment for license is automatically generated in the information and telecommunication systems of the State Tax Service and sent to the business entity before the deadline for license payment through the “Electronic Cabinet”.
