Starting from the 1st of August 2020 and as of the 1st of October 2020, the number of 107 business entities of Odessa region used free software solution from the STS and registered 436 software registrars of calculated operations (hereinafter – the SRCO).
Of these, 9 legal entities registered 326 SRCO or 75% of the total number of registered SRCO in the region, and 88 individuals – entrepreneurs with 110 registered SRCO or 25% of all registered SRCO in Odessa region.
The biggest share of SRCO, namely 34 or 7% is used in the retail sphere.
As a reminder, starting from the 1st of August 2020, the taxpayers can use SRCO which can be installed on a computer, smartphone or tablet for consumer’s payment operations.

It is possible to register the SRCO electronically with the help of free service “Electronic Cabinet”. Detailed algorithm of actions to be taken by the business entity to transition to application of the SRCO can be found at https://od.tax.gov.ua/media-ark/news-ark/432522.html.
Herewith, application of software RCO from the 1st of August 2020 did not expand the number of business entities that are obliged to use RCO / SRCO in accordance with requirements of the Law of Ukraine on RCO and the Tax Code of Ukraine. Reminder! Such obligation for individuals – entrepreneurs of Group II - IV arises only from the 1st of April 2021.
Until this date, in addition to the opportunity to use free software solutions for the actual settlement operations, the STS has created the conditions for testing free solutions by business entities that intend to use the SRCO after the 1st of April 2021.
