“Taxpayers of Odessa region transferred 22.2 billion UAH of taxes and fees to the consolidated budget of Ukraine during 10 months of 2020, which is 13.4% more than the last year’s payment” – stated Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region Julia Shadevska.
According to her, 9.8 billion UAH was paid to the state budget of the specified amount, which is 2 billion UAH or 25.7% more than during 10 months of 2019.
The biggest share in the payment structure to the state budget is occupied by the value added tax, which during January – October 2020 was paid in the amount of 4.4 billion UAH. This is 17.7% or 0.7 billion UAH more than during January – October 2019.
In turn, taxpayers transferred 12.4 billion UAH to local budgets of Odessa region, which is 0.6 million UAH or 5.3% more than during the corresponding period in 2019. Of the total paid amount, 60% or 7.1 billion UAH is the personal income tax.
“Taxpayers who honestly pay taxes to budgets of all levels, by their example demonstrate a high level of responsibility to the state and its citizens "” – stated Julia Shadevska.
