During January – October 2020, the property and income tax declarations for 2019 were submitted by 4 thousand residents of Chernihiv region in order to obtain a tax rebate. Declarants determined more than 10 million UAH of the personal income tax for budgetary reimbursement.
The biggest number of declarations was submitted in order to obtain a tax rebate for tuition. Namely, 3.4 thousand declarations declared the budgetary reimbursement amount totaling about 9 million UAH of the personal income tax.
According to results of the in-house audit of property and income tax declarations for 2019, since the beginning of the current year, specifically 9.2 million UAH of the personal income tax has been reimbursed to 3.7 thousand citizens of Chernihiv region.
Please note that the last day for submitting the annual property and income tax declaration for 2019 for citizens who are entitled to obtain a tax rebate is 31.12.2020 (inclusively).
