Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region reported that regional Tax service during 10 months of 2020 took effective measures to legalize employment. As a result, local budgets received more than 4 billion UAH of the personal income tax. The PIT revenue indicator during 10 months of 2020 exceeds the corresponding indicator of 2019 by 368.3 million UAH or 10.1%.
It should be noted that the PIT is the main source of filling local budget. In the revenues structure, it occupies the leading position – almost 68% of the total amount of other taxes and fees.
Tax service of Mykolaiv region draws the employers’ attention to compliance with the requirements of labor legislation: registration of official labor relations with employees, timely payment of wages, prevention of wages in the “envelopes”. After all, legal business and official jobs are the basis of budgetary stability of territorial communities.
