Share of taxes paid by large taxpayers is almost 60% of tax revenues in Ukraine

Responsible attitude of big business entities towards paying taxes pays off. This was stated by Head of the Large Taxpayers Office Mykola Chmeruk.

According to him, big business entities paid almost 313 billion UAH to the state budget during 10 months of 2020. Share of revenues provided by the Office’s taxpayers is 59.4% in the total revenues in Ukraine.

Geography of revenues is as follows:

- large payers serviced in the Central Office have provided revenues totaling 21.7 billion UAH since the beginning of 2020;

- Eastern – 10 billion UAH;

- Western – 16.6 billion UAH;

- Southern – 9.2 billion UAH;

- Northern – 25.6 billion UAH.

In turn, the taxpayers serviced in Kyiv city transferred almost 230 billion UAH to the state treasury. The biggest amount was paid by the enterprises of fuel and energy complex, their share is more than 92 billion UAH.

“It is necessary to allocate growth of revenues from the excise tax. This figure increased by 21.6% during 10 months of 2020 and amounts to more than 63 billion UAH, which in turn is 11.3 billion UAH more than in 2019 and is 97.2% of tax across the country” – stated Mykola Chmeruk.

Local budgets (in terms of region) which serve large taxpayers received almost 25 billion UAH during January – October 2020.

Specifically, the local budget of Kyiv city received 13.2 billion UAH;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 3.9 billion UAH;

Zaporizhzhia – 2.5 billion UAH;

Lviv – 1.4 billion UAH;

Odessa – 1.6 billion UAH;

Kharkiv – 2.1 billion UAH.
