More than 53 thousand business entities submitted 95 thousand notifications of hiring 173.2 thousand employees during January – October 2020 to Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region as a result of conducted information measures on legalization of wages and employment registration.
Specialists of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region carry out active explanatory work among employers and their employees on the inadmissibility of hired labor usage without employment registration, payment of wages without taxation and payment of single contribution to compulsory state social insurance.
Regional tax specialists heard heads of 1294 enterprises, 958 of them increased the level of salaries, subsequently the budget additionally received 7.1 million UAH of the personal income tax and 8 million UAH of the single contribution.
Also, joint commissions with local authorities heard the heads of 355 enterprises during 10 months of 2020, of which 271 taxpayers raised salaries, subsequently the budget additionally received 560.7 thousand UAH of the personal income tax and 625.2 thousand UAH of the single contribution.
Reminder! Procedure for submitting a notification to the Tax service on hiring an employee is approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 17.06.2015 № 413.
