As of the 1st of November 2020, the number of 5978 cases of various categories totaling 14.5 billion UAH was pending in courts with participation of tax authorities.
Of cases considered by courts since the beginning of current yeaar, the number of 864 cases totaling 3.4 billion UAH has been resolved in favor of regional tax authorities.
“Of the total number of administrative cases on taxpayers’ lawsuits, the majority are cases of invalidation / expiration of tax notifications – decisions. Thus, 3128 such cases totaling 8.2 billion UAH have been pending in the courts since the beginning of 2020. Of cases considered in favor of the tax authorities, the number of 320 cases totaling 625 million has been resolved” – reported Head of the Legal regulation department of Main Directorate of the STS in Dnipropetrovsk region Mykola Obertovich.
