Revenues of local budgets amounted to more than 3.9 billion UAH of tax payments during January – October 2020 in Trans-Carpathian region. This amount is almost 100 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019. In particular, the revenues of local budgets amounted to more than 410 million UAH only in October 2020.
Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region noted that the so-called “lion’s share” of revenues belongs to the personal income tax. Local treasuries have received the PIT totaling more than 2.7 billion UAH since the beginning of 2020. Also, small business entities paid more than 538 million UAH of the single tax; almost 356 million UAH of the land tax; more than 140 million UAH of the excise tax on sale of excisable products by the retail trade entities, etc.
- Tax specialists note the high tax culture of regional taxpayers and are grateful to them for their sustainability, because despite the challenges dictated by coronavirus quarantine, they pay their taxes to the budget on time. Currently, one of the priority tasks of Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region is the efficient and stable allocation of funds to the budget.
