Taxpayers of Odessa region paid 736.4 million UAH of military levy to the state budget during January – October 2020. Revenues have increased by 73.6 million UAH or 11.1% comparing to January – October 2019.
Particularly, taxpayers paid 81.6 million UAH for the defense capabilities of Ukrainian army in October 2020, which is by 10.5 million UAH or 14.8% more than in October 2019.
Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region noted that the state of financing of state programs and projects depends on the tax culture of taxpayers, as well as on the conscious and active citizens’ position on the legalization of income on which military levy is accrued and paid according to Sub-paragraph 1.3 Paragraph 16 Note 1 of Sub-section 10 Section XX of the Tax Code of Ukraine, the country’s ability to respond to external and internal challenges.
