Large taxpayers declared payable almost 16 billion UAH of income

According to Head of Large Taxpayers Office of the State Tax Service, the property and income declaration campaign 2020 ended with good results in terms of financial and economic activities for 9 months of 2020. Positive dynamics in the income declaration of large taxpayers remains unchanged. Tax return amounted to 1.11% in the 3rd quarter and is constantly increasing during the year (reference: 1st quarter of 2020 – 0.98%, 1st half of 2020 – 1.04%).  

Large taxpayers accrued payable 39.7 billion UAH of income tax during 10 months of 2020, this figure is over 67% of such accruals in Ukraine.

Herewith, for the 3rd quarter of 2020, the amount of 15.9 billion UAH was declared payable, which is 3.4 billion UAH or 27.2% more than during the previous reporting period (2nd quarter of 2020).

“I’ll note positive dynamics of the income tax accruals by enterprises which for the 1st half of 2020 declared losses. Thus, 70 business entities that in the 1st half of 2020 had losses of 27.8 billion UAH could come out of the state of losses and declared payable 534.8 million UAH of income tax.” – stated Mykola Chmeruk.

The largest amounts for the 3rd quarter of 2020 were declared by enterprises of such sectors of economy as:

- mining industry declared payable 4.1 billion UAH accrued, which is 49.4% more than in the 2nd quarter of 2020, the tax return in the 3rd quarter of 2020 is 4.79% and 0.77% more than in the 2nd quarter 2020, while revenues have increased by 25.4%;

- processing industry declared payable 3.3 billion UAH, which is 45.8% or more than 1 billion UAH more than in the previous reporting period. Tax return in the 3rd quarter of 2020 is 1.09% and 0.28% more than in the 2nd quarter of 2020;

- enterprises involved in the wholesale and retail trade declared payable 3.2 billion UAH, which is 1.03 billion UAH more than in the previous reporting period. Tax return in the 3rd quarter of 2020 is 0.57% and 0.12% more than in the 2nd quarter of 2020. At the same time, revenues have increased by 27.2%, while budget accruals increased by 46.6%.
