Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region reminds that operation “Harvest” is currently ongoing, the main purpose of which is to control the completeness of payment of taxes by agricultural producers, as well as citizens who independently cultivate their own land and sell agricultural products.
This results in payment of the personal income tax only from the lease of land plots (shares) and it has already been provided in the amount of92.5 million UAH to budgets.
Despite the fact that the payment term under land lease agreements is set for December of current year, the personal income tax payment by business entities continues during a year. Thus, only 6 largest agricultural producers who grow grain crops on leased land plots (shares) paid the PIT in the amount of 32.4 million UAH, which is 35% from the total amount of revenues of the PIT in Rivne region from the land lease.
It should be noted that the ultimate goal of operation “Harvest” is to fill, above all, treasuries of local communities and this is facilitated by the prevention of tax evasion schemes, legalization of wages, expansion of number of officially employed agricultural workers and creation of new jobs.
