Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region provided 108.6 million UAH of the real estate tax to local budgets during January – October 2020 due to the constant purposeful work to determine the real estate taxation object other than land (the so-called “real estate tax”) and the amount of payable tax. Revenues have increased by 14.2 million UAH comparing to the corresponding period in 2019. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev.
The undisputed leaders in payment of the real estate tax are the owners of real estate – legal entities, whose contribution to the local budgets of Mykolaiv region for 10 months of 2020 amounted to 78.6 million UAH. Individuals – property owners transferred 30 million UAH of the real estate tax to local treasuries.
“Given the conditions of decentralization of power, taxes paid to budgets of local communities are the financial basis for infrastructure development and a source of funding for the social sphere of Mykolaiv region.” – stated Dmytro Prokofiev.
