Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region reported that regional the VAT taxpayers transferred 1 billion 460 million UAH of value added tax to the state budget during January – November 2020, which is 15.6% or 196 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
According to Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui, the increase in payment of value added tax is a result of work of the “updated” system of automated monitoring of compliance of the tax invoices / adjustment calculations with the criteria of estimation of risk degree, which makes it impossible to use schemes used to form a fictitious tax credit and evade VAT.
For reference: as of the 1st of December 2020, the number of 3917 VAT payers was registered in Rivne region.
