Regional Tax service takes ongoing measures to conclude lease agreements by land users, active explanatory work with taxpayers on compliance with current legislation in terms of registration and use of agricultural land (shares).
As a result of this work during January – November 2020, local budgets received almost 613.6 million UAH of the land tax and land rent, which is almost 10% in the total amount of local budget’s revenues and leaves this tax in the top three.
Legal entities paid 537.3 million UAH, individuals – 76.3 million UAH.
Completeness of the land tax and rent revenues to local budgets is a result of joint efforts of Zhytomyr Tax service and local self-governments to involve landowners and land users in taxation.
Reminder! Land payment includes two types of mandatory payments – land tax and rent. The first is paid by landowners and land users, the second by tenants of land plots, both individuals and legal entities.
